    Why Join ACKy?

    Joining ACKy will bring many personal, social, and community benefits.  These include, broadly:

    • A chance to contribute to Christian education and spiritual growth of our youth, which can become a mission in itself in fostering the values and spread of Adventism and preparing our youth for the Kingdom.

    • Outlets for recreation and exploration of interests and personal goals.

    More specifically, membership in ACKY will afford members short- and long-term benefits and satisfactions:

    In the Short-term ACKy membership can enrich members’ lives personally, socially and developmentally:

    • Affording opportunities for fun and recreational activities;

    • Offering occasions for strengthening collegiality and belonging among members;

    • Creating conditions for fortifying spiritual growth among members;

    • Opening prospects for attending events such as NCU Annual Homecoming, etc.; and

    • Providing for raising the profile of NCU and its educational opportunities as an important option for Cayman’s youth

    Longer-term, ACKY membership can contribute to church and community development by:

    • Giving opportunities to Cayman’s youth to attend NCU, via ACKy grants and scholarships;

    • Involving NCU in local community and church member training and education;

    • Strengthening NCU as it serves future generations of Adventists; and

    • Furthering the cause of Adventism.
